ART PORTFOLIO
I first worked as a photographer as a young Peace Corps volunteer in Peru in the late 1960’s. Music soon became my career path, with the support of my photography and graphic design work. (More Knowles’ photographs and design work at gyremusic.com and frankwallace.com)
I usually paint in the summer, when my unheated studio at the east end of our rambling 1979 farmhouse beckons after the long NH winter. It is also in this studio that I design staging and make the masks that are a signature element of my solo dramatic productions.
All abstract photography on nancyknowles.com, frankwallace.com, and gyremusic.com is my own
