My first teenage artistic endeavor was making huge photographic murals, sponging developer onto photo paper hung on the tiled wall of a shower-stall-turned-darkroom. As a painter, I continue to love seeing my ideas writ large, preferring large canvasses. Since this is not always practical, I also indulge in the very small, as in my 5″ by 5″ miniatures.
